Prof Choi was careful in showing me my medical issue on the CT scans and describing how the procedure could help, while also expressing the uncertaintly of a definitive positive outcome. His approach to me as a patient gave me much confidence in his experience for this procedure. Also, his office PA, Satvir is extremely efficient and responsive - the best I have experienced from the panel of neurologists and neurosurgeons I have dealt with over the past 15 years.

A doctor that listens and explains the total procedure. Made me feel confident in his ability to help me.

Professor Choi was professional, patient and caring. He explained the entire process, options available and really put me at ease as the day of surgery approached. I could not recommend him and his team enough.

In December 2022 during a scan from an sports injury, there was a tumour found in upper neck. I was originally seen at a private hospital in Leicester and then referred to Queens medical centre in Nottingham. As It was a unique scenario whereby the nature of the tumour was uncertain I was referred to Professor Choi in May 2023. I am extremely thankful that as soon as I was in the care of Professor Choi the speed at which things progressed improved drastically. I had a biopsy within a couple of weeks and it was determined that surgery was the best option to remove the tumour in its entirety. The procedure was explained to me in great detail by Professor Choi and his clinical team and I had my operation on the 28th June. I am currently recovering well at home and awaiting follow up appointments to determine next steps. I am extremely grateful for having Professor Choi as my surgeon. Should you be having a procedure with him be assured that you are being seen by one of the best within his field. His reputation proceeds him and whenever I had mentioned his name to others they were always positive which gave me even more confidence.
